electricity meter is a machine that every house in this earth have(mostly) they calculate how much power every costumer use and the calculation is for the company to make the bill, so it's basically a machine that will calculate the power we use every month (usuallny)
thins thing works because of there are 2 coils inside it and if the electricity go through it it'll make the aluminium disk inside it rotate..and the number of revolutions the disk is proportional to the energy used. inside the machine is several gear that which drives the register (register:series of dials that record the amount of energy used)
